K-1 Lead Teacher

My name is Sarina Munoz and I’m so excited to be a part of In the Moment! I received my bachelors degree from Texas State University in Elementary Education and my masters degree also from Texas State in educational leadership. I hold a teaching certificate in early childhood through 6th grade and am ESL certified. My teaching experience includes 10 years as a public school teacher during which time I served on the school team leadership committee, instructional leadership team, and as a mentor for new teachers. I also have homeschooled my own children for over two years and I absolutely love it! I believe learning should be meaningful and enjoyable with connection at its core which is exactly what In the Moment provides. I very much look forward to being a part of your family’s homeschool journey!

My name is Brittany Lerma and I am so excited to have founded In The Moment Microschool and help families on their homeschool journey! My professional training includes a bachelor’s in early childhood education and a master’s in elementary education. I also have previous experience as a preschool teacher and have homeschooled my kids over the past year and a half. I believe in the importance of parent involvement in a child’s education as well as building a strong support group within our community. I am looking forward to meeting new families and supporting your homeschool journey!
